Hannah Barnett, RN
Pathway Nurse, Sullivan East High School and West Ridge High School
Hannah started her career in nursing as a nursing assistant while still in high school at a
long-term care facility. Then, while in nursing school, she transferred to
Bristol Regional Medical Center’s emergency department to open the door to acute care nursing. While there, she worked as a trauma nurse and served in the
pediatric emergency department. Hannah had opportunities at outpatient surgery centers, as well. All these opportunities helped broaden her nursing practice,
which she can use to help students with their career path options.
Hannah is using her passion for teaching to help high school students pursue their careers in
the nursing field, just like she did while still in high school. She looks forward to helping students on a similar path to advance and strengthen the healthcare in our region.
